We believe in the healing power of food and our kombucha is no exception. Kombucha is the beverage the ancient Chinese called the “Immortal Health Elixir”. It’s been around for more than 2,000 years and has a rich anecdotal history of health.

We Brew with Organic Yerba Mate!

Yerba mate is a tropical plant rich in amino acids and polyphenols that balance the effects of its caffeine content – making the yerba “buzz” smooth with no coffee crash.   Yerba mate also contains minerals and B-vitamins to produce a balanced, long lasting physical AND mental stimulator.

Traditionally, natives of South America, where the tropical plant grows, have used yerba mate as a digestive aid.

Our Ingredients

We take great care to add the most nutritionally dense, organic, high quality  ingredients to our kombucha.  Each medicinal flower, superfruit and root is sourced from the most trusted resource that we can find.  *You can find the following powerhouses of nutrition in our kombucha:

Goji Berries

Gojis contain all essential amino acids and have the highest concentration of protein of any fruit. They are loaded with vitamin C, contain more carotenoids than any other food, have twenty-one trace minerals, and are high in fiber and iron.

Elderberries

Powerful antioxidants with practically super fruit status, elderberries are packed with Vitamins A, B, C, potassium and iron. Their sharp, sweet flavor make them the perfect pairing with kombucha’s sour, tongue-tickling fizz.

Pomegranate

An antioxidant, high in vitamin C, potassium and fiber, the ancient pomegranate’s ruby red tartness is the perfect sweet to kombucha’s sour.

Ginger

Zesty, peppery ginger has been used in the Chinese culture as a medicinal plant for thousands of years.  It is the staple flavor in our most loved flavor, Ginger Fizz.

Turmeric

Loaded with phytochemicals like curcumin, turmeric is full of antioxidants. This ancient spice gives our Hot Lime it’s yellow color and it’s medicinal punch.

Cayenne

Used in food and medicine for 9000 years, cayenne peppers puts the slow heat in our Hot Lime kombucha.

Tulsi

Also known as Holy Basil, tulsi is a staple in the Ayurvedic medicine chest. You will find it in herbal cough expectorants, fever reducers, and respiratory remedies. Our tulsi is proudly grown by Floyd County farmers!

Coffee

Coffee has lots of health benefits and its loaded with antioxidants and beneficial nutrients.  We make our Cold Kombrewcha from Red Rooster beans, roasted right here in Floyd, VA!
